Paris Truck (Adam Colton Signature Model)
I meet up with the amazing Longboard Larry (LBL), on our skate across the US trip. He was kind enough to take us in while the bus was getting fixed. From there on out he was inovled and made us new boards for the journey, helped us get press covearge and even came to visit us in VA at the welcome home party. There he presented me the 1st Adam's Old Skool Dancer deck, inspired by the old dancing decks my friend Matt and I use to make. From there magic hit the fan, Longboard Larry, Adam S. and I really start to devlop longboard dancing further.
This board has been an idea for a long time. In 2005 right before the Skate Across American trip, Loaded sent me some boards to test out and Don the owner said when I get back he would love to talk with me about developing a dancing board.
Well, 3 years later, and a job with Loaded we finally got around to building this beast.
I am really stoked on how it came out.. The nose and tail curvatures are so awesome and it is pressed with 100% linen NO FIBERGLASS, a huge step foward into making our boards that much more organic.
To top it all off, it features my oringial monster artwork on ther top and bottom of the deck.
Joey from Paris Trucks aproached me March of 2008 about doing an Adam Colton Signature Paris Truck. He felt that I am very active and play a big role in the longboarding community and he wanted me to be apart of Paris. I was definalty stoked on the offer. The truck was going to stay the same but I had the option of changing the look of it so I thought monsters baby. So I drew up a collage of monster faces and bam they were transfered over onto the truck, pretty crazy (image of the monster collage to the left). I also get to pick my bushing color and durometer and I am going to pick a softer bushing then the traditional Paris bushing.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN the ADAM COLTON SIGNATURE TRUCK and a STANDARD PARIS TRUCK????

So basically if you dig Paris trucks and you like the look of the truck and you support what I do go for it. If not no worries my friends, there are plenty of amazing trucks out there.

Whenever I get the urge I drawl weird monster creatures. One of my mosnters has made it onto a very comfy organic cotton t-shirt. THANKS LOADED!!! Meet Frank the monster, he is a bit of grump and has a big nose but his intentions are good. He has one tooth that he uses to open tuna cans, he loves him some tuna, hmmmmmm. He has lots of wrinkles under his eyes from staring directly at the sun and his hands are mangled because a sewer lid was drop on them. Rock the shirt proudly and please make up ridiculous stories about Frank the monster to share with friends. Thanks for the support.
